About Carolina Costa

Carolina is an Associate in our Global Transactions team and part of tech and data group in Vienna. 

As a member of the firm’s global transactions practice group, she regularly advises both domestic and international businesses on a broad range of transactional matters, such as carve-outs, separation and integration, information technology and commercial agreements.  

Her expertise also includes providing strategic counsel on a full range of legal issues relating to data commercialization and use of data as well as data privacy matters, new data uses and analytics including AI, technology innovation, as well as tech and digital regulatory.

Her recent work has been centred around clients’ digital transformation projects, particularly in the tech & telecoms industries; and giving clients strategic advice on the EU Digital Strategy, e.g. on the Data Act, the Digital Services Act and the AI Act. 

Carolina speaks English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

  • Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, Brazil (Bachelor of Law, LLB) 

Professional qualifications: 

  • Admitted to the Brazilian Bar - São Paulo.
