Eva Schneider is a Vienna-based associate in the global transactions group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. She specialises in finance law and financial regulation.

Eva studied law, business and economics in Austria, France and Italy and currently pursues a PhD in Switzerland. Before joining the firm, she worked in the European Parliament’s legal service (unit for economic and monetary affairs) in Belgium, the Austrian trade commission in Korea, a bank in Austria, as well as at Austrian courts and authorities.
Eva has been published in a number of legal journals and regularly speaks at conferences and seminars. Moreover, she is active in our CEE country group as well as our global fintech team.
