Technology quotient - the ability of an individual, team or organization to harness the power of technology

We have arrived at Money20/20 Europe!

Following successful trips to M2020 Europe, Asia and USA in the last year, Freshfields is back in Amsterdam this week for M2020 Europe 2019, with lawyers from across Freshfields’ European network forming part of the firm’s largest M2020 team to-date.

The firm has also secured its biggest exhibitor-space so far, an impressive stand in which we’re looking forward to meeting clients (old and new), showcasing our capability in the fintech space, and perhaps even hosting a few drinks along the way!

What are we expecting to see?

The great thing about M2020 is the variety. A walk through the exhibitor halls will take you past international financial institutions, tech start-ups, challenger banks, crypto-assets and everything in-between. There are few better places to get a sense of the breadth of the fintech eco-system.

Disruptive consumer-facing products may get the attention (think, challenger banks, payment tech), but M2020 shows you the number of back-end solutions that support those products (think, algorithmic security, ID verification and much more).

We’ll also be sending representatives to the full programme of panel sessions and presentations, listening to the issues affecting fintech today, and getting a greater understanding of the direction of travel.

How can I learn more?

Throughout the week we’ll be posting updates to Freshfields Digital and our social media channels. Check back for a glimpse of the sights and sounds of M2020, as well as our thoughts on what we’re seeing and hearing.

For those in Amsterdam, come say hello to us at stand L43. We’d be delighted to meet you.
